SAAC Girls Clinic Registration: August 26th

We’ve confirmed that we will be hosting our girls soccer clinic on August 26th at The Hangar, located in Downsview Park!

Prices for the clinic are as follows:

  • Morning Session: $40
  • Afternoon Session: $40
  • Full Day: $60

Clinic Tickets are on a first come, first serve basis. No refunds available.

Snacks and beverages will be provided to those who attend, although, we encourage players to bring a separate refillable water bottle.

The Clinic will involve:

  • Drills with academy coaches, activities, games, technical drills, giveaways, scrimmage games and much more!
  • Lunch will be provided to those staying for the “Full Session”
  • Every person that registers will receive a “Canada vs. Jamaica” postcard
  • The first 42 people to come to the event will receive a “Canada vs. Jamaica” poster!
  • 4 Mini Canada Soccer Balls and 2 Pairs of Tickets for “Canada vs. Jamaica” will be raffled off to those who do full day sessions. People who register for full day sessions will obtain 1 raffle ticket and have the option to purchase more.

Online registration has closed, you may do a walk-in entry on the day of the clinic with cash only.

Soccer Academy Alliance Canada is proud to announce that we will be hosting a girls clinic to help build and strengthen our female divisions. At SAAC, we realize just how important growing both the male and female divisions are and we continue to strive and progress towards better development for our players. The soccer clinic will be held on August 26th from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Power FC Pro ID Camp

Power Soccer Pro ID CAMP – July 17th to July 21st

Power Soccer will host a Pro ID Camp from July 17th to July 21st. Coaches from Sunderland AFC (England), Sao Paulo F (Brazil), & CE L’Hospitalet (Barcelona, Spain) will work with the male and female players in attendance. Players aged 9 to 17 (born in 2008 or after) are welcome to register for the camp. The camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at Crescent School (2365 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, ON). For more details please go to Power Soccer Elite Pro ID Camp.

Over the last few seasons, Power FC has had numerous players go overseas on trial with professional clubs including Sunderland AFC, Birmingham City FC, Brentford FC, Bolton FC, Aston Villa FC, Fulham FC, FC Barcelona, Feyenoord FC, Sporting Lisbon, Pescara and S.S. Lazio. As well have we have placed players with Professional Club Academies such as Toronto FC, Birmingham City FC, PFC Ludogorets & Sunderland AFC. Power FC is the elite player development program of Power Soccer. Power FC is based out of North Toronto with players traveling from all over the GTA to be apart of the program.

General remarks from the European coaches about ANB Futbol & the 2016 ID Camp:

  • Great set up overall.
  • Good level of training.
  • Great futbol environment.
  • ANB Futbol is a very good host.
  • High level of professionalism at ANB Futbol.
  • Commendable player’s attitudes and behaviors.
  • Attractive level of play at the younger ages (2002 – 2003).
  • Positive exchange of ideas among ANB coaches and the European ones.
  • Friday night presentation format change was more successful than previous years.
  • Disappointed with the playing and motivation levels of the older players at the ID camp.
  • Great work ethics from younger players, in particular the (2004 – 2002) age categories and all the girls players.
  • Euro coaches ran training sessions at all team program level for a week before finishing the week with the ID Camp. Euro coaches were very pleased with the experience and requested more involvement in future events.

Toronto Skillz Ajax Camp

AFC Ajax Camp Information:

Toronto Skillz F.C is proud to host four (4) Academy coaches of the renowned and prestigious AFC Ajax soccer club for the inaugural AFC Ajax/Toronto Skillz FC International Summer Soccer Camp. The camp comes on the heels of our Academy’s visit to the hallowed grounds of “Sportpark De Toekomst” and the Ajax Arena for a week of training and games at the facility of one of the preeminent developmental academies globally. Staffs of both organizations were very happy with all aspects of TSFC’s visit to Amsterdam and embarked on talks to expand the collaboration to partner on camps in Toronto that would be beneficial to the long term development of Canadian soccer players who were not able to make the trip to Europe.

AFC Ajax has a storied history that includes developing the philosophy of “Total Football” that has been adopted by many of the top footballing countries and clubs worldwide. The concept of “Total Football” has shaped many of the best soccer playing teams and players for many generations and is the philosophy that Toronto Skillz FC has embraced in its Long Term Player Development (LTPD) model.

The alumni of the AFC Ajax Youth Academy reads like a who’s who of some of the most elite talent to ever set foot on soccer fields globally. They include Dutch International players Johan Cruyff, Edwin Van Der Saar, Dennis Bergkamp, Patrick Kluivert, Marco Van Basten, Rafael Van der Vaart, Wesley Sneijder, and Nigel De Jong.

Notable alums of their first team include Frank Rijkaard, Clarence Seedorf, Edgar Davids, Jari Litmanen, Jaap Stam, Luis Suarez, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Thomas Vermaelen, and Jan Vertonghen among others.

We are delighted that AFC Ajax has agreed to work with us and look forward to a long fruitful relationship that will further propel Toronto Skillz FC towards its goal of being the premier developmental academy in the country.
