ANB Futbol continues to provide professional youth trial opportunities to its full-time players. Seven players were recognized at the ANB 6th Annual ID Camp held in June, 2014. The following players will be traveling to France on 7 Nov. 2014 and have the chance to experience a professional youth Formation Centre environment for one week. They will train and play with Academy players from the Ligue 2 club, Estac Troyes AC, as well as hopefully create their own path in the European futbol world.

Peter Quattrociocchi (1997 born) – member of ANB Futbol for past 6 years; playing on various ANB Futbol teams, most recently the League 1 Ontario team

Alessandro Tansella (1999 born) – member of ANB Futbol for past 6 years; leader on the U-15 team

Gregory Moulopoulos (1999 born) – member of ANB Futbol for past 3 years; leader on the U- 15 team

Alistair Johnston (1998 born) – member of ANB Futbol for past year; playing on U-17 team

Justin Brown (1998 born) – member of ANB Futbol for past 6 years; captaining the U-17 team (unfortunate injury will postpone his trial to a later date)

Matthew Rosolen (1999 born) – identified by scouts at ANB ID camp; plays with local GTA club

Professional scouts from major European clubs continue to be in contact with ANB Futbol and are following up on players who have previously been on trial. Additionally, ANB Futbol players on athletic scholarships in the United States continue to assist their teams during important conference games at this time of the year.

“Traveling with this many athletes to the Formation Centre of professional clubs is a testament to the quality of their individual performance and commitment to the overall ANB Futbol philosophy. I am confident all the players will learn from the experience and be one step closer to their personal futbol goals. We will continue to work with all ANB athletes to ensure their aspirations are achieved,” said ANB Futbol Academy Director, Bassam Naim, who will be traveling with the group.

ANB academy’s vision is to become Canada’s leading soccer development organization. Its mission is to identify Canadian soccer talent, and to maximize the potential of players at any level, through professional coaching and training.
